If you buy a hard disc (HDD) recorder to record TV programmes, and you have an ACCS connection, here is a useful hint: the TV region for an ACCS cable connection is Tokyo, not Mito or Hitachi. If you set the TV region to Tokyo, the TV channel guides and the G-code (the numbers after the name of the TV show in the TV listings) will work properly for recording your TV programmes.
