Maruzen NihombashiEdit

Closed last year, for renovation. Now their main store is on the Marunouchi (west) side of Tokyo Station. JR Tokyo Marunouchi North Exit or Subway Otemachi Exit B2c.

Yaesu Book CenterEdit

Jena Bookstore, GinzaEdit

Closed January 2002.

KinokuniyaEdit

The two stores in Shinjuku are very large, much larger than the Otemachi store. Excellent for ordering books for home delivery. Order by phone and pay when you receive them, often the next day. Much better than ordering from a bookstore in Tsukuba and waiting 3 weeks.

Kitazawa Bookstore, JimbochoEdit

If visiting Jimbocho, also visit Sanseido Main Store (to the west of Kitazawa and Subway exit.)

BonjinshaEdit

Specifically for books for people learning the Japanese language.

Hard to give directions to this place. Somewhere between Subway Kojimachi and Hanzomon. Southwest of the British Embassy.

Junkudo IkebukuroEdit

Largest in Tokyo. Another big store in Shinjuku opened recently, near Kinokuniya Main.

Yurindo Landmark TowerEdit
