[edit] Ideas for recycling books
- If you have an extremely high quality book which the library does not already have, you can try to donate it to the Tsukuba Public Library. However, they do not accept all donations and will reject automatically any book that they already own.
- Tsukuba Information Center has a small collection of books just to the right of the front doors. You can try to donate your books to that collection.
- Write up a list of your books and try to give them away or sell them on TAIRA, Tell and Sell Japan or Freecycle Japan.
- Bookcrossing is a book exchanging idea.
