Bordered by the central part of the University of Tsukuba main campus on the east, and Nishi-odori on the west, this is one of the oldest areas in Tsukuba. Beside Kasuga 4-chome, most of the houses with large yards are owned by long-time Tsukuba residents, some families who have lived in Tsukuba for over 200 years. Very pleasant area for walks.
