Keep going south on Nishi Odori for about six kilometres. Go through a tunnel, then turn left at the traffic lights and then left again, and Hitachino Ushiku station is right there.

There are lots of cheap car parks around the station. For temporary parking (to drop off or pick up passengers) one can stop right in front of the station concourse.

There is a bicycle parking facility underneath the station on the north side.

[edit] Shopping

There is no shopping centre in the station itself. Just outside the station there is a Lawson Station convenience store and Capricciosa restaurant. Nearby (about ten minutes walking distance) there is a K's Denki and a Wonder Goo and some other shops.
