An overhead road going from Tsuchiura Gakuen Sen to the far side of Tsuchiura Station.

This was going to be a train line that would have connected Tsukuba to the Joban line, but plans were nixed at some point after construction had already started. A small train line had connected Tsukuba and Tsuchiura until the 1980s.
