Tsukuba International Network Wins AwardEdit

On January 26th, 2005 Tsukuba International Network (TIN) received an award from the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications. TIN came into existence in 1998 to act as a focal point for international relations, in particular for the research institutes in the city. The members of TIN meet regularly to discuss the problems that Tsukuba's foreign residents encounter in their daily life, and try to find ways to make improvements. This award will help to raise TIN's profile and perhaps increase their ability to effect change in the community.
